Set forth herein is the privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) applicable to all websites, services, and products owned by or operated by Assets In Order, Inc. (referred to herein as “Assets In Order,” “Us,” “We,” “Our,” or “Party”).  This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Terms & Conditions Agreement (the “Agreement”) applicable to all users of Our websites and services.  The capitalized terms used herein shall have the same definition as in the Agreement, unless otherwise defined herein. 

We may, at Our sole discretion, modify or revise the Privacy Policy at any time, and by continuing to use the Website or the Service after such a modification or revision, You agree to be bound by such modification or revision. Upon making a modification or revision to this Privacy Policy, We will Post the modified or revised version on the Website.


The Privacy Policy covers Our collection and use of personal information about you such as your name, address, phone information, Assets In Order log-in credentials, and other information that is not otherwise publicly available. For Members, the Privacy Policy also covers Our collection of Private Information.


Assets In Order collects personal information when you register with Assets In Order as a Member, a Recipient, or a Verifier as well as when You use the Services and the Website.

When you register with Assets In Order, We ask for information such as your name, address, phone information, and information necessary for the Service We provide. Once You have registered, any time You log-in to the Website, we are aware of Your identity and may associate Your log-in information with the information You provided at registration.

When you use the Services and/or visit the Website, Our servers automatically receive and record information that Your web browser sends Us. Our servers may retain information such as Your web request, Assets in Order log-in credentials, Internet Protocol address, referring website addresses, browser type, browser language, the date and time of Your request, and cookies that uniquely identify Your browser.

When you use the Services and/or visit the Website, We send cookies to Your computer that uniquely identify Your browser. Most browsers are set up to accept cookies, but You can change this setting to refuse some or all cookies. If you change this setting, some features in the Website may not function properly or at all.

Assets In Order collects email and all other communications You send to us.

Assets In Order collects information concerning the usage of hyperlinks available on or through the Website.

For Members, Assets In Order also collects the Private Information the Member uploads to Assets In Order under the terms, conditions, and specifications of the Member’s Membership Plan.


A. Private Information

We do not use a Member’s Private Information in any manner other than to store such Private Information on behalf of the Member and to transmit such Private Information to the Member’s designated Recipients after the Member’s designated Verifiers verify the Member’s death. Assets In Order maintains Private Information in a secured and encrypted storage environment such that not even Our employees or contractors can read a Member’s Private Information.

For the purposes of clarification, as part of Our efforts to store Private Information, We will duplicate Private Information in the process of backing up Our data storage servers and devices.

B. All Other Information Collected

Other than a Member’s Private Information, Assets In Order may use information it collects from the Website for one or more of the following purposes:

  • providing customized webpages, services, products, and advertising to Our users, and improving the quality these offerings;
  • tracking users’ trends, interests, disinterests, and search methods and preferences;
  • processing user inquiries and responding to user requests;
  • auditing, researching, and analyzing information to maintain and protect our webpages, services, products, and advertising;
  • developing new, innovative webpages, services, products, and advertising;
  • testing and ensuring the technical functioning of our webpages, services, products, advertising, and network;
  • making our webpages, services, products, and advertising easier to use by eliminating the need for users to repeatedly enter the same information;
  • providing anonymous reporting for internal and external clients; and
  • contacting users.


Assets In Order processes personal information on Our servers in the United States, and in the future, may process it in other countries. For some users, We may process such information on a server outside of the user’s own country.


A. Right to Refrain From Submitting Personal Information

You do not have to submit personal information to Us. If You choose not to submit this information, however, We may not be able to provide the Service or grant You access to the Website.

B. Editing Personal Information

You may edit Your contact information on the Website at any time. You may also cancel or terminate Your account subject to the terms and conditions of the Agreement.

C. Opt-out Rights

You are required to provide certain personal information in connection with Your use of the Website and the Service. If We use this information in a manner different than the purpose for which it was collected or as disclosed in this Privacy Policy, then We will ask for Your consent prior to such use. You shall be provided with an effective means of option out of the use of Your personal information in a manner different than the purpose for which it was collected or as disclosed in this Privacy Policy.


A. Interactions with Advertisers

We may display targeted advertising based on personal information. Advertisers may assume that users that interact with targeted advertisements meet the criteria that have been targeted, and by interacting with an advertisement, You consent to the possibility of such assumptions being made.

We may allow other companies that show advertisements on the Website to set and access their cookies on Your computer. Other companies’ use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, which are completely independent of this Privacy Policy. If you want to prohibit an advertiser from setting or using cookies on Your computer, You must visit each advertisers’ website and opt out (if they offer this capability). These companies do not have access to Our cookies.

B. Sharing Personal Information

We do not rent, sell, or share Your personal information with third parties except to provide the Service You have requested, when We have Your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  • in order to satisfy any Applicable Law, legal process, or government request; enforce the Agreement, including investigation of potential violations thereof; detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, illegal activity, or technical issues; respond to user support requests; respond to claims that any information violates the rights of third parties; establish or exercise Our legal rights or defend against legal claims; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Assets In Order, its users, and the general public; or
  • if We are acquired by or merged with another company and information about You will be transferred, in which case We will notify You before information about You is transferred.

Notwithstanding, We may share with third parties certain aggregate, non-personal information that is not associated or linked with any individually identifiable user, such as statistics related to the number of times links are selected or specific pages are visited.


We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of/to data. These include physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal information.

We limit access to personal information about You to those who We believe reasonably need such access to maintain and expand the quality of the Service and the Website. All individuals receiving any personal information about You are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to termination or criminal prosecution if they fail to meet such obligations.

Notwithstanding, no one has access to the content of a Member’s Private Information when it is stored on Our servers. Only the Member’s designated Recipients will receive that Member’s Private Information after the Member’s designated Verifiers verify the Member’s death.
